Well, I was a bit stumped on what to do a new journal of, when I got to thinking "why not talk about something I enjoy?" So, I'm covering games. This year was simply spectacular for gaming so far. The release of Halo 3 ODST started it off quite well, promising a much more unique approach to Halo. Instead of playing the game as a human tank god mod you actually had to think out what you were doing, and play a bit more strategically. Cover was an option, rather than a hindrance. For racing Fans, Forza 3 was amazing, bringing a nice return to the Forza game trilogy. The game had many settings promising for many levels of gamers to be able to pick up and play the game just like anyone else. as for up and coming games, Tomorrow is the long awaited release of Modern Warfare 2, Which promises to be the best of the Call of Duty games so far. The gameplay looks amazing, and the Multiplayer looks to be just as grand as the first. Left 4 Dead 2 would be my personal favorite from the pick, Being the sequel to, in my personal opinion, one of the best survival themed action games I've ever played. The ability to change your weapons among a very much more open and selectable variety, instead of being limited to pistols, bombs, and basic/advanced weapons. New infected should make it quite a bit more of a challenge than the first as well. Well, to all you gamers out there, Happy 2009! Let's hope 2010 can bring us another great gaming year!
